Best week end stay on the coast I've ever had.
My wife and I booked one of the newer rooms with a hot tub on the deck. I was unusually warm this week, we spent an entire day browsing the many shops in town, and found several items a very reasonable prices, a nice suprise for us.
At breakfast we had reserve seatting in the enclosed porch of the 1880 victorian main house, surrounded by flower gardens.Everyplace we went in the town was like a page from Better Homes and Gardens.
We arived on Thursday afternoon, and immediatly inquired about the local night life for the following evening, since we had booked dinner reservations at MacCallum House for Friday. The hostess told us of the Casper Inn just 5 minues up the road. We were delighted to find they were doing a swing dance, followed by a Chicago Style blues band from the bay area. We had a great evening of dance and romance and met several local dancers and made new friends.
Every meal was a culanary delight. The Inn was very well kept, well worth the exrta few dollers you might spend elseware in town. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
