My wife and I had a charming five day stay at the Brewery Gulch Bed and Breakfast for our 28th anniversary. The atmosphere was laid back, quiet, and relaxing. We had the Osprey room on the second floor. A nice view through the trees to one of the ocean inlets of the bay. The bed and pillows were perfect. Flat screen tv with plenty of channels. The fireplace was a little disappointing, it was gas only and was used mainly for heating the room. Nice bathtub with a window encompassing the great view. No dressers for clothes. And before I forget, no cell phone service. The Inn did provide a land line in the room and long distance calls were free. There was also wi-fi throughout the Inn and in your room with good speed connection. The staff was courteous and helpfull. The free breakfast each morning were top quality as was the evening semi-dinner. Each nite several dishes were served along with local vintage wines. Always found the dishes excellent and followed by a tastey dessert. It was a perfect setting to talk with fellow guest about the day and travels. The town Mendocino was a five minute drive away which for us was just right. The vineyards of Anderson Valley were about a half hour away and would highly recommend a day there. Also had a great dinner at Albion Inn Restaruant which is a beautiful drive of about 15 minutes. This trip ranks highly on our list of best and will certainly do it again.
