I apologize for waiting for 2 years to write this review, but I figured it's better to be late than to never do it at all.
My wife and I stay in the Mendocino area at least twice a year, and we stayed at the Jughandle once in late 2003 in one of the rooms in the converted barn.
While the room was okay and it was cool to have a hot tub in our bathroom, the main problem we faced was that when we filled the tub with warm water, it smelled faintly like raw sewage.
I realize of course that it wasn't actually sewage we were smelling, but whatever was making the water smell that way was a turnoff.
The owners were nice and the breakfast was good, but in our minds, what good is a jacuzzi if you don't want to use it?
I can still remember that smell 2 years later, btw.
