We stayed at the Packard House for 3 nights during the end of November/begining of December. We had stayed at the sister property the John Dougherty House the last time we visited Mendocino and wanted to try the Packard House this time... we were not disappointed!
The Packard House has all the charm and comfort of a B&B, but offers more modern amenities. (LCD TV's, jetted spa tubs with separate showers, etc... Many of the other B&B's I checked out looked like they were decorated by my great-great grandmother...) The property is well kept and the Inn keepers were warm and inviting (Stephen made amazing gourmet breakfasts that were the perfect start to each day. The baked banana was beyond delicious!). We stayed in the Pacific View room. It had lovely views of both the village and the ocean. The room was neat and clean and looked as though we had stepped into a Restoration Hardware catalog. The Inn is an easy 2 minute walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. A perfect location and an amazing B&B!
Thank you Packard House staff for making our trip to Mendocino a relaxing one!
