Overall experience was good. The hotel staff was friendly and tried their best to accommodate us. I was there on business in the area and they have included wireless or port access in the rooms. The business center consists of a computer and printer on a lobby desk. The room was comfortable with flat screen TV and VCR, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There was a phone in the bathroom.

The included breakfast was a deluxe continental breakfast and was well stocked and with variety, included microwavable breakfast burritos and waffle maker. Coffee machine gave you of variety of coffee choices including expresso, latte, and flavored coffee.

Located on a busy street with some construction next door. Many rooms located on street level with the center wing two stories. Many nearby restaurants to choose from. Close to SF airport.

“Good value, above average motel”

I stayed at the Millwood Inn two times in September for four nights altogether. The location is especially convenient for San Francisco airport, and the BART connection from/to Millbrae offers an option to get to downtown San Francisco without having to worry about traffic and finding some parking space. You also get pretty quick to the Golden Gate area and beaches by car. Shopping (from supermarket to mall) and dining is available in the area along Camino Real.

The rooms offer all you might need, from coffee maker, hair dryer, fridge and microwave to flat screen TV with video and DVD player. The room was rather large (but I was travelling alone), beds are really comfortable. There's also a laundry room (washer/dryer are cheaper than those of the common motel chains) and a fitness room (which I didn't find time to use). Free internet connection (in case you don't have a laptop, there's a computer available in the lobby). Breakfast offers a good selection from fruits to preparing fresh waffles - better than the usual 'continental breakfast'.

As a small small drawback, if you stay in the two storey part of the building, you might hear some noise from upstairs (depending, of course, on the folks' upstairs behavior).

I would definitely stay there again.

millwood inn and suites in millbrae is certainly nothing special. words like " inn" and "suites" are often deceptive and really mean "small basic non descript motel room". that is certainly what youll get here. the beauty is if you are flying out of sfo you can park there for up to 2 weeks. the 144.00 dollars i paid for this 70.00 room still works out to be a deal if you are gone for 10 days to 2 weeks. it amazes me to read these reviews that lavish praise on this place and makes me realize how people's standards vary. but thats what makes trip advisor an invaluable resource. in any case millwood is motel 6 w/ a different name

“Good Valus”

Millwood Inn

20 Oct 2007

Clean, compact, has microwave and refrigerator, bed is clean and comfortable. Good for a place to stay, not romantic, but it is away from the city but close enough to get to San Francisco with a car. Also close to the airport but not noisy. Nice places to eat if you travel down El Camino Real, close to freeway. Breakfast is ample enough, but don't go late, one of the attendants (one of the same ones who work the front desk) is really anal about the time. (She also was very efficient but no bed side manners.) Overall the staff was pleasant and the cleaning staff was cordial and efficient. The walls are thin though so make sure you are tired when you go to bed.

“What a find”

Millwood Inn

20 Oct 2007

We arrived here after a day of travelling and were pleasantly surprised by the room we were staying in for the night The room was well appointed. We had a continental breakfast, included in the price, and the staff were very friendly. I would like to thank the person who gave such excellent directions for our driving trip to the California Coast. Highly recommended
