It's in the thin-towel class of hotels, but it's OK for $43/night off season. Rooms are recently renovated with cheapest obtainable furniture, clean, and roomy enough. Refrigerator and hair dryer, no microwave or coffee maker. Thin walls--I can hear the people upstairs walking around, and the shower in the neighboring room can serve as an alarm clock.

Internet access via ethernet. The internet jack is across the room from the desk, so bring a long cable or be prepared to move the room's small table close to the jack.

Call the hotel directly to make your reservation. Via the internet, the cancellation policy is, as I recall, a penalty of several nights rent. When I called, the man assured me it would be only one night.

I got a great rate so my review may be skewed compared to someone who pays over $65 per night. The room was clean and quiet. They do have internet but it is not wireless (bring a cable). The location is easy to get to but is not walking distance to anything other than a large shopping mall.

From reading the other reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Boy was that a mistake from a value perspective. This place is definitely not worth the $$ spent. It was dirty, remote didn't work (although they did come and fix it when requested), old scrappy towels, only one towel per person, spiders and a shared kitchen with the bathwroom which had a microwave but no coffee pot or microwavable cups for water. And the bathroom light/fan was so loud that you couldn't turn it on at night without waking up the others in the room. The one good thing about the room was the shower - hot water, good solid water pressure, semi-circle shower curtain rod was great so that the curtain didn't blow in on you.

Anyway, unless you can find a really good deal here, I wouldn't recommend it - $60-$70 / night max.

This motel is a fantastic value - only $39/night through Orbitz during off season weekdays. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The room I stayed in was recently renovated. All rooms might not yet be renovated - I'm not sure about that. Located on Munras Avenue where there are quite a few motels one after another. Across the street from a major shopping mall.
