I was a little nervous driving into the smallish parking lot that my SUV was going to get rear ended, but nope...I was being a worry wart. The King room, #17, had a bay view in the distance, and was very clean. I was concerned with the lack of air conditioning, but what was I thinking? Windows open...ocean breeze...perfect. It's located on a quiet street, and the woman at the front desk, Valerie, was very helpful with local information. Beds were fairly comfortable, and our room had a little fridge in it for leftovers and water.

It's about 2 blocks from the Embarcadero with shops and dining. We ate at the Flying Dutchman, reasonably priced and very casual atmosphere. (Clam Chowder was pretty good, too).

If travelling through Morro Bay, we'll definetly stay here again.

As far as I can tell you, it isn't the Ritz. But it isn't any cheap brand hotel/motel. The rooms are neat, clean and quite. We have stayed at many of the hotels in the area, some good and some bad. I would give this place 4 star rating. What really nice, it's close to everything in Morro Bay. You can park the car and walk everywhere. The money you save can go for those nice Morro dinners that are expensive. Best I can tell you, this is the best value in Morro Bay at this time.

we stayed at the motel, it was the only one availiable, we read the review and were not looking forward to staying there, we had no other choice due to a funeral that weekend, when i saw the room, i was so happy, the room was very clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful, so to everyone don't go by one upset costumer that was bitter, this place is highly recommended by me.

The rooms are dirty, carpets stained. The rooms are no bigger than a
match box the beds are saggy bathrooms have molds and mildew. The front
desk people are the owners and are RUDE. Should be called ROACH MOTEL
INN
