We stayed there for 1 night for $99/night. The room is small but looks cozy and quaint due to its flowery wallpaper, flower wreath hanging on the wall, and a wood frame bed, gives it a country home feel. The bathroom is just a standing shower, clean and cheap toiletries, suggest you bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We found a stain on one of the bath towels but the staff was very friendly at replacing it. She also said they are getting new towels next week, so if you stay there after 6/2006, then you can enjoy the new towels.

I have stayed here twice, and been happy both times. The manager is very warm and helpful had some suggestions for what to do during our stay. The room was very clean, and decorated well for the price. The best thing about this hotel is that it is a few blocks from the Embarcadero, and everything is within walking distance. No need to drive around, looking for parking, just walk from the hotel. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin, we could hear our neighbors quite well.

I was a little nervous driving into the smallish parking lot that my SUV was going to get rear ended, but nope...I was being a worry wart. The King room, #17, had a bay view in the distance, and was very clean. I was concerned with the lack of air conditioning, but what was I thinking? Windows open...ocean breeze...perfect. It's located on a quiet street, and the woman at the front desk, Valerie, was very helpful with local information. Beds were fairly comfortable, and our room had a little fridge in it for leftovers and water.

It's about 2 blocks from the Embarcadero with shops and dining. We ate at the Flying Dutchman, reasonably priced and very casual atmosphere. (Clam Chowder was pretty good, too).

If travelling through Morro Bay, we'll definetly stay here again.

As far as I can tell you, it isn't the Ritz. But it isn't any cheap brand hotel/motel. The rooms are neat, clean and quite. We have stayed at many of the hotels in the area, some good and some bad. I would give this place 4 star rating. What really nice, it's close to everything in Morro Bay. You can park the car and walk everywhere. The money you save can go for those nice Morro dinners that are expensive. Best I can tell you, this is the best value in Morro Bay at this time.
