I do appreciate the fact that when my party (of 10 in four rooms) checked in early 4/14 that they informed us that there was a wedding party staying there that night. However, that was pretty much the point where the good experience ended.
We were also in a wedding party (the minister was one of the guests) and when the reservations were made we made arrangments to have 3 rooms in a row because some of the party was eldery and there were some small children. When we checked in they double booked the rooms and seperated the rooms. When we asked to help fix this they threatened us with a cancellation charge. HUH?
At approximately 11:30 PM the other party showed up and the problems started. Children were running up and down the walk ways, loud music and loud people. On 4 separate occasions “WE” had to tell them to be quiet. They were all in the parking lot drinking and playing music. This disruption continued on until at least 2:30 AM-3AM. Then the party moved indoors and onto the walkways. Loud music kept playing and people kept slamming doors until 4AM. We tried to call several times, however the phone in room had no phone cord. We called on a cell phone and then got into an argument about the time the people next door checked in. I don’t care what time they checked in. The issue was because of all of this noise the entire group got 2-3 hours of sleep.
Finally, when we checked out it was brought up on 2 separate times by different paying members that the noise level was way too loud too late and all we got was “it was quiet when I checked”. If you would have bothered to have looked outside and seen the large group of approx 80 people outside drinking beer at 8AM in the parking lot you would've had a good understanding.
I didn't care what the place looked like I just wanted a place to rest for the night. I didn't even get that.
