Pros:
+ Well ventilated room
+ Great view of Morro Rock
+ Small fridge and microwave
+ Within walking distance of several great places to eat. (Dorn's; Shine Cafe)
Cons:
- When we first trying entering the room, the dead bolt was on. Apparently we were given the key to a room already assigned to someone else....
- DO NOT bother with the continental breakfast. As others have said, it is in the small lobby of the Check In office and consisted of small boxes of cereal and a loaf of bread.
- Bathroom, though naturally well lit, has rust and the shower head faced the shower door making the floor extremely wet.
- Toilet paper was the lowest grade I have ever experienced in my travels.
- Bring matches when you use the bathroom (#2). There is no vent in the bathroom making it awkward if someone needs to use the bathroom after you.
- The sink was clogged. Management came and attempted to fix it by using Drano but to no avail. When he left, the water that was in the sink was all over the toilet seat from him trying to clear the water out. He didn't even bother to wipe it up. He did offer us another room but the water was slowly draining by the end of the night/next day.
- No internet. We drove down a block and used the wireless from Blue Sail instead.
Next time, I will pay more for a better place. Sadly, previous reviews were not as accurate as I would have hoped.
