After a very bad night in Santa Barbara during Memorial weekend, we wanted a nice hotel just to relax for a night or maybe two. We found Ascot suites to be a little over our planned budget, but after seen the tower room, we didn't hesitate. This was the hotel we wanted to stay in. All the staff members were very helpful and nice, the wine and turndown service were a nice touch.

The room was beautiful, not usually our kind of style, but cozy and very clean. Since it was a bit cold and windy for May - the fire place was great.

Not very much to do in Morro Bay, but we did stay one night more than we initially planned, because we just loved the hotel. Would defintately stay here again.

I had read all the wonderful reviews but was somewhat disappointed. First and foremost, the walls are pretty thin. I could hear the man next door snore all night and little footsteps tromped overhead for hours at a time. The hotel was fully booked, I could not change rooms. The decor is nice, the breakfast was very good. Nice selection of bagels, Danish, cereal, fruit and yogurt. The maid did not replace anything we had used on day one, bubble bath, coffee, soaps, drinking glasses, sheets were not changed. Desk staff was nice, hotel was clean.

On our way back from San Diego to San Francisco Bay Area we stopped over in Morrow Bay and found the Ascot Suites more than met our expectations. The staff was very friendly and gave a great recommendation for a local restaurant. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The jaquizzi tub was spacious and wonderful addition after the long drive. We will definitely stay at the Ascot Suites when we return to Morrow Bay.

We stayed at the Ascot Suites last week and everything was wonderful. We arrived just as the wine service started (which was great after driving). The room was much more than we expected, I couldn't even get my husband out of the whirpool bathtub (he was watching tv from the tub) it was very relaxing. The rooms are well decorated and the service was outstanding! On our last night we watched the sunset from the roof deck of the hotel and our pictures came out beautiful. This is the only place we will stay from now on when we come to Morro Bay.
