I have been eating at the Piemont my entire life (27 years). When I moved away for college for four years I never failed to make a trip to the Piemont when I came home to visit. In the last year, under new management and the failing economy, things went a little downhill with the food, but the old owners are back in the mix and the food is back to its high standards and quality. Everyone has their own "taste" when it comes to Italian food (like, I hate Olive Garden because it tastes processed and tastes like imitation Italian), but the Piemont food always tastes good and home cooked to me. The family style dining: soup, salad, entree, and icecream, never leave you wanting (if you leave hungry, something's wrong). The staff is always friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Deep fried ravioli appetizers are the BEST. This is NOT a chain Italian restaurant, so the menu will be limited because it is home style, family Italian. It is worth the stop and is a treasure of Northern California.
