i had heard good things about the fishing boat FREELANCE.. however they really are not much help for those who are new to fishing .. i took my 2 sons out on a 3/4 day boat .. i pulled a deck hand aside gave him 20.00 and asked him to help out since my sons are new to saltwater fishing .. by the way they say the cater to new fisherman and are more than willing to help out ,, not once did this guy ever help out ,, i was even taking fish off their hooks and no there we not many hook ups,so i wasted 20.00, their service i wouild rate d-, at the end of the trip i was paying food bill, 87.50,, i asked the cook for a trash bag to put fish in , he said no, i had just stood in line and watched him give out 7-8 bags ,, but for me it was a no , after spending 207.00 in tickets, 97.50 food ,sodas. with tip ,, 16.00, to have 4 fish cleaned, 20.00 for them to help out , which did not happen, and then the cook not giving me a plastic trash bag ,, well that is the last time i will ever fish on the FREELANCE.. i go fishing 2-3 month during the summer i know what good service is, the FREELANCE does not. this has nothing to do with a slow fishing day ,, it happens i will say the captain tried to find fish , and had no idea of his crews actions...my advice go on another boat, i would not go for even a free trip on the FREELANCE...
