We were very frustrated that they wouldn't accept our rewards buy one get one free coupon even though we called 3 times to Marriott to set it up and then called the hotel direct to make sure they honored it. They ended up giving us the $170 a night room which saved us a bit but not what I was planning. We ended up viewing a time share nearby to earn points so I could stay on budget.

It's not the greatest of locations as you have to drive everywhere.

The layout of the room was exceptional but I think that is more of a reflection on Marriott.

The stay was good but I certainly wouldn't pay full price. Parking was $14 a day and internet was $10. No breakfast offered but the restaurant was very good, if expensive if you want to splurge: $9 for a glass of wine for example. Great help there though.

Wish we could've cloned the room for the rest of our stay, it was nice putting our teen by himself with the doors closed.

We enjoyed our visit. Really comfortable beds! Some of the rooms do have a view of the bay but this hotel is about 5 miles from the beach. The suite part has a nice sofa, chair and desk. A dorm size refrig and a coffee maker. No utensils, cups or plates. Maybe you have to ask for those and we didn't. Good shower too. Each room has a tiny balcony but no chair to sit on which would have made it nicer to enjoy the view and the lovely weather. Easy to get most anywhere from this spot.

We spent a night here for a little getaway with the kids back in May. The hotel is great! Rooms are nice, pool is nice and staff is friendly.
These suites are great if you have kids because you can get some privacy from them at night.
The pool area has great atmosphere. Part of the pool is indoors and then it flows outdoors. Perfect if you don't want a lot of sun!!
We ordered room service the night before and it arrived promptly at our requested time. The kids loved their Mickey Mouse pancakes with M&M's!!
My only complaint is that it took a while to replenish the towels at the pool. We were promised new towels in 10 minutes and it took close to an hour and multiple people to complain.
We really enjoyed the bike/walking trail which is right across the street.
We will definitely return for another getaway!!

This hotel is in an excellent location. Close to Balboa Island, Disneyland, Fashion Island Mall, and beaches. The grounds, lobby and pool area are pristine and beautiful. Our children loved this hotel. The front desk is friendly, responsive and a model for others. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and a great restaurant on site. The rooms are suite style with a double door separating the main bedroom from the sitting room. The bathroom is large with a separate tub and shower. The only downside to the rooms is that the upholstery is dated and worn. Also, my husband was irritated that there is a $10 internet fee that runs from 12-12. So if you use your computer the day you arrive and the next morning, you will pay $20. He thinks this is antiquated as he travels alot for business and almost everywhere has free wireless access. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. It is quiet, comfortable, great for families or business travelers and had a terrific and helpful front desk. We stayed at 3 hotels for a two week trip along the coast and this was the best.
