Our stay at the PG Inn was a lovely experience. The staff is really friendly & was very helpful. I dont know why some ppl have said that the staff is rude etc. Yes they are a bit strict on the check in & check out times which caused us a bit of a problem, but that was my problem. Breakfast is v. good. My advise is - avoid the attic room if possible, though we had the downstairs Joseph Buck room, nice Kingsize bed with fireplace - lovely. Will definitely recommend to one & all.

We stayed at the Pacific Grove Inn for three nights during the last weekend of March. We just loved it! It was the best of both worlds for me and my husband. I love B & B's but my husband wants a TV in the room. We stayed in room 14. We had a private entrance and views of the ocean. The room was large and very clean. The king size bed was very comfy. The bathroom was huge. We even had a fireplace. We watched a movie from the library. They have a large selection of titles.My husband said that the choc chip cookies were the best that he had ever had. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was quite tasty. Be sure to try a waffle, they are yummy! The location is also perfect. We ate at the local restraurants. Fandango's food was superb. Be sure to try the short ribs. I would recommend this Inn to everyone. We will stay there again.

If you are old fashioned like I am, you will be delighted to enter into a such a charming place like the Pacific Grove Inn!. Everyone that works there are aways smiling and always helpful. There Service, breakfast, and tea time are delicious!!! Espeically there Cookies! You must try them when you get there! My husband I stayed in room #11 and I really recommend it to any couple whose looking for alittle bit more privacy and a cozy place to cuddle! :) The Restraunts around there are so close! We just walked to them! Theres free parking as well! Pacific Grove inn is a must stay if you come over to the Monterey Bay! You won't regret it! Its clean, friendly, beautiful, delightfull and just an amazing place. It felt like I walked into a Time Machine and went back in Time. Mainly because the Inn was Originally a House!! in 1904! Theres actually furniture in there thats orginal! They take such good care of everything! There was even 1 table that was from 1856!!!! WOW!!! So Go book a room, even if its just for 1 night, you will deffinately be coming back!. I know we will! :)

Inn was very welcoming, room was beautiful, breakfast was great, price was right- what more can you ask for? Stayed in #10. View of ocean and fireplace in every room. Comfortable and spacious. Staff is great with recommendations, and they have a little closet with menus and brochures, very helpful. Yummy breakfast- waffles, yogurt, fruit, eggs, frittata, coffee, juice, cocoa, etc. in well appointed dining room. We appreciated the history of the place, lots of cool 'circa' photos in the hallways, antiques in the rooms. Beds were comfortable too.
