One of the sad things about living in our beautiful desert is the dearth of places that you can stop by after the theater or a late film and have drinks and a nice meal. This new place solves that problem and does a fine job doing it! If you are a wine lover like me, it's a bit of heaven. Fortunately, it also offers some delicious food choices ranging from "noshes" to full-out entrees. They also have a full bar if that chilled martini sounds good before dinner. I have been there twice now and enjoyed it very much. The service was not as good this last visit, as the bar was packed and the restaurant empty, so we were seated in an undesirable area next to the bar. If they say they're going to be open late, they should leave open their much nicer dining area. My biggest fear, of course, is that the summer will do them in, which would follow the pattern of every place that has opened in that spot for the last 15 years. Until then, though, I will be a regular and will tout their praises on the various sites to which I contribute.
