Ruth's Chris is a top chain steakhouse, and I love their fillet. This Ruth's Chris is in a great location, and has a great atmosphere. However, I have had to wait too many times for too long for a "reserved" table. Also, the wait staff can be spotty due to the turnover, and some are young and inexperienced, which can be frustrating at this price point. Additionally, for some unknown reason, the chef likes to play around with tried and true dishes. For awhile the Caesar salads came with huge romaine leaves uncut. Recently, they changed their fantastic potatoes au gratin. They decided to use huge chunks of potatoes instead of the small cuts. The potatoes were not even cooked through. Fortunately, the steaks have always been up to Ruth's standards. Overall, it's still a very good steakhouse, but hopefully they will listen to feedback and get back to what made them popular.
