In a town overly-populated with mediocre tourist eating places, all serving pretty much the same foodstuffs in different settings, Miro's is the breath of fresh air you are looking for in this culinary desert.
We went last night, a busy Saturday of a busy weekend. From the moment you walk in the door you know you are in the right place. Each staff member we encountered was welcoming, pleasant, courteous, helpful, and appropriately interactive.
The understated, minimalist elegance of the subdued dining room, filled with fine art, is a welcome relief and sets the mood for the dining experience to follow.
Servers were informational during the selection process, presentation was perfect, and service appropriate and unobtrusive.
The food is really to be experienced and not written about, other than to say that the meals were perfectly cooked, with interesting and stimulating combinations of ingredients and flavors. It was indeed a meal that when you ended you had a momentary thought that it might be a really great idea to start over again.
Don't hesitate, don't give it a second thought - just go. If you enjoy fine food, properly prepared, in a welcoming and sophisticated yet comfortable setting, Miro's is the place to go - and go - and go. You will not be disappointed.
