This Courtyard has only been open a few months. We've stayed there twice. Both times we've had good rooms at a good price. The front desk staff is excellent. They are always friendly and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, etc. This is not an ocean view, resort hotel, but if you're looking for a good, clean room at a great price you should definitely check this one out.

Had an excellent stay at the Courtyard. I usually stay at 5 star hotels whenever possible so I was a little apprehensive about staying at a Courtyard but there was not much available due to the busy Thanksgiving day weekend. I couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel staff was helpful and the rooms were clean with a really sharp modern decor.

The location is convenient near the 101 and since I had a inner Courtyard room I heard no traffic noise, I can't speak for other outside rooms. If you're looking for a beatiful secluded location I wouldn't recommend the hotel, but if you want an excellent room at a resonable price I can highly recommend the Courtyard.

This is the best hotel in San Luis Obispo. No, really. (The ONLY others I would consider are the Sanitarium Spa or the San Luis Lodge if you're looking for a B&B experience).

Everything was great but two examples of outstanding service include

1. when carrying in my sleeping toddler, the staff who were busy at the front desk immediately stopped talking, without being asked, so that my child would not wake up. They also even smiled. They were always so friendly and welcoming with my child too. These little things mean a LOT.
2. The breakfast chef went out of his way to say hello and entertain my toddler during our breakfasts. REALLY nice of him. The food was very good too, especially for San Luis!

This is hands-down the best accommodations in San Luis!!!

Finally, we appreciate that this hotel actually hires professionals, instead of exploiting local students who don't know and thus cannot offer proper service levels - regardless of how good their intentions are.

Recently spent 3 nights at this new Courtyard. The room was spacious and well furnished with a plasma screen TV. The bathroom was large and very clean. The room also comes with a microfridge and microwave. The room also had a good internet connection that is free. The reception area is large with comfortable furnishings and several computers available for the use of guests. The breakfast buffet was great with an omlette station and good service.
