Stayed there for one night driving up the 101. Place was clean, decent rooms, decent complex, and a great value for your money.

While this appears to be the best deal to be found in San Luis Obispo I would never recomend it for more than a one night stay.

It was clean. I would guess standard Motel 6 fare, although this property opened under another name. It sits very remote at the first San Luis Obispo exit you come to with almost nothing nearby except for a Cosco and Home Depot at the next light.

Have your printed confirmation. She tried to send me to the other location before I could produce the printed document showing the correct address when she suddenly could find my booking.

The rates on the net appear to be some sort of discount when you book them but I noticed they had a printed sign next to desk showing same rates that were much lower than rack rates on card on back of door in room. I would never pay more than I did for this budget hotel.

I would of gladly paid $30-40 more for a good 2.5 or 3 star property but nothing near that was to be found in the area. The Friday and Saturday rates at hotels in the area were just too high in comparison to even be considered for our needs.

This motel 6 in SLO is a lot better than the one we stayed at than the motel 6 in Salinas (while visiting Big Sur). The rooms were clean, shower was good, had a remote. The road leading to the motel was being repaired when we were there. It is very close to the freeway but we did not hear that much road traffic, we heard our neighboors more. One complaint I did have was that the walls of Motel 6 is pretty thin and the fact they had connect doors made it worst. Other than that we slept well. I would recommend this place.

This is "no frills" lodging at a no frills price. We needed a place to stop overnight and that is what we got. Check in was quick and efficient, and the two people in the front office were both friendly and helpful. They let us park our motorcycles right outside our room in a small, covered patio area.

Traffic noise from adjacent Highway 101 isn't a problem. The access road from the offramp to the motel is a little confusing and very dilapidated. This isn't the motel's fault but if you're wondering if you made a wrong turn you probably didn't!

Amenities are standard Motel 6- pool, vending machines, thin towels, soap, but no shampoo. The room was well-maintained and clean except for a mystery stain in the carpet near the sink. Cell phone signal was no problem in the room.
There is a diner nextdoor, a Denny's within walking distance, but any other restaurants are a few miles away as the area is on the southern outskirts of the rapidly growing city.

I recommend this lodging for the basic, low cost, clean and safe place that it is.
