My experience was horrible here! One of the major employee's there was very rude and disrespectful. The furniture was not clean at all! I was not at all treated as a guest or paying customer!I cancelled my reservation after a few nights, and switched to Best Western which is fabulous!

Enjoyed this motel very much. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pool was nice and clean. Friendly helpful staff.

We stayed one Friday night at the Vagabond and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very quiet all night long and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, a nice stay. I would recommend to anyone.

Try The Vagabond in San Luis Obispo at your own risk! Only stayed because dog sitter backed out. Both outside and inside smelled, carpets not cleaned in years, sofa bed so dirty you were afriad to sit on it! Rude clerk would not honor early check-in promised. If there was any place else in town at the last minute, we would have cancelled and eaten the $260 it cost for two rooms--PLUS an additional $10 for the DOG! One night was sheer hell--it's one large dog kennel, at outrageous prices--and not even a bowl for water!
