My husband and I have stayed at cavallo point three times now and I have to say that this last stay was not as great as the first two. We have stayed in the historic rooms twice and last night we stayed in a contemporary room. We were in room 2403 and I did not sleep well due to the noise from the room above ours. It seemed that the guests above had a party and all were wearing heavy shoes all into the late night hours. I was very frustrated and too tired to complain last night. To top it off, our reservations came with complimentary full breakfast (in room dining) and my bacon, all three pieces, were charred beyond edible.
I really love cavallo point and will continue to go there however I will stay only on the historic side. The bacon was dreadful probably because it was complimentary... Oh well.
