Great great location. Stayed in a 2 room suite since we had 4 adults. Rooms OK, bathroom recently remodeled but surprisingly with such a beautiful shower the water pressure was terrible. Also with a suite, I wuld have thought that there would have been at least 2 sinks in the bathroom if not 2 bathrooms. Also closet was usable if not small. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping very patient in waiting to do the room.

Hallways were very musty smelling, room smelled like baby diapers. Hotel is in need of major renovations. Price ok though, but you get what you pay for. Would look elsewhere next time.

I was definitely happy with this hotel. It has the perfect location. A cute swimming pool and jacuzzi (indoor), nice continental breakfast, clean rooms, friendly service.

Would recommend - especially if you want an affordable (can't remember exact price) hotel CLOSE to the beach! Walking distance for sure. Local stuff is fun :)

Spent 2 nights at the Pacific Inn and it had a number of minor inconveniences. Overall the appearance and location of the hotel are fine. The hotel says 3 blocks to beach, another reviewer said 8 but in any event it's about 1/2 mile, so don't plan on walking if you have lots of beach gear. I was in room 221, a renovated room with the new tile flooring and tile shower ( the room across the hall had your typical white fiberglass tub/shower combo). Bathroom very presentable, but there was very little water pressure and the shower didn't drain. The tile is high gloss and EXTREMELY slippery. They have a caution sign, so you know there have been accidents. I don't want to dwell on the quirks, but the door frame was off kilter and very hard to open, the porch light was missing and the porch drain plugged so standing water was present each morning from the AC condensation.
The bedspread had numerous cigarette holes and interestingly there are no towel holders in the bathroom, although they advise to "hang up your towel to conserve energy and avoid it being washed"

Breakfast was just OK, toaster didn't work so couldn't prepare the bagels or waffles or english muffins.

Pool was very clean and warm, but tiny and one towel available at the pool one day and none the next.

At $120 per night, I suppose you get what you pay for.

PS. Claimjumper restaurant just down the road has huge desserts.
