A beautiful hotel, friendly, accomodating staff (including front desk and valet) and a warm, clean and friendly room. I slept well here and the location of the hotel was easy to get to all of my meetings and elsewhere in LA. One downfall, could never get the Internet access to work in my room or in the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby bar is nice, although a bit intrusive in that you basically have to walk through it to get to the elevators. Overall, I would enjoy staying here again. It was one of the best I've stayed in this year (average about 25 hotels each year).

Stayed here in July 07. Had a little trouble finding the hotel but didnt get too lost. Loved the pillowtop king size bed, super comfortable bed with great pillows and room was decent size. Nice to be a ble to open the balcony slider for fresh air, although air conditioning worked fine. Bathroom was good size with a large double sink area in front of a large mirror. No issues with room whatsoever. Really loved having the Starbucks inside the hotel, very conveniant. The best part of the hotel was it was across the street from an out side mall which was nice to walk around after a day of traveling and business. Even better was the PF Changs which is located in the mall, had a fantastic dinner and drinks at the bar there watching baseball. Service folks at the hotel were super friendly and they clearly do a great job managing the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We found the Hotel very pleasant and the decor stylish and warm.Starbucks was a nice added suprise too.
Garden and pool area trendy with a lounge/ firepit for perfect relaxing spots.
Room 503 was above the Restaurant fan, causing us to move further away because of noise. Room decor /furniture along with bed/ pillows were comfy.
Bathroom didn't have fan/ vent was the only problem.Bath and Body amenities was a nice plus.
Staff were helpfull but valet park....the self parking does have problems with in/out previlages. Which became the only negative about our stay.
Otherwise will return again, since Del Amo Mall was across the street, dining and shopping was easy and no hassle with LA traffic.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Torrance for 2 nights on business. The room I booked was a king on the concierge level. The hotel grounds, check-in and the lobby of the hotel was very nice. The staff was very courteous and helpful as I was checking in.

The room was very nice, standard marriott, with a wonderful bed, nice desk area and bathroom. The room was a bit smaller that normal, more like rooms I get in NY, about 300 sq ft but very functional and worked just fine. The AC is very efficient and keeps the room nice and cool. The room also had a balcony which is always nice, I like rooms with balconies so you can get some fresh air (although it is LA) and it also makes you feel a little less closed in when you have one.

The best feature I found which I have never seen in any other hotel I have been at was the starbucks delivery!!! Being a starbucks addict I go in search of a latte every morning when im traveling. There is a starbucks right in the hotel which is nice but this hotel takes it one step further. On the bed when you check in, along with the pre-order breakfast hanger, there is a starbucks door hanger where you can place your starbucks order before you go to sleep and they bring it to your room in the morning !!!!!!! That is bar none, the best idea a hotel has come up with, I love it, I wish all of them would do that.

Overall a very nice stay. This was my first time to L.A. and since my meeting was near this hotel I choose it. If I was here and had time to see LA I would probably choose a hotel closer to the touristy stuff in LA otherwise very nice stay, no problem coming back.
