My air conditioner stopped working EVERY DAY that I was there. It was fixed everyday, but again stopped working a few hours later. The bar was closed. The restaurant was closed. There was no room service. If you wanted anything besides a bag of chips from the vending machine and a $2.00 canned Coke, you had to get dressed and leave the hotel. Which, by the way, sent me to TOPS down the block, and has GREAT hamburgers! I had to leave my bags with the concierge because my room was not ready when I arrived. The concierge and bellhop is the same person, so if he is out of the office, you are out of luck if you need driving directions, brochures, or if you need your suitcase. I still don't know if there was an elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor of the parking garage. I had to walk up the ramp to get to my car and hope I didn't get plowed over by an oncoming car. My room was, however, inexpensive, but remember: you get what you pay for, and in this case, a little bit less. I won't be staying here on my next visit to Hollywood.

We have just completed a round the world trip visiting several countries and the Ramada was our last stop and worst hotel. The hotel is due to change owners consequently no bar, kitchen or restaurant. All closed since Sept 2007 and still advertising on web and on the guest TV in the rooms. Hotel was generally ok, however men? hugging, holding hands and kissing in the lift and around the hotel is not what we expected. To be fair and honest to the hotel our Travel Agent let us down seriously.

After reading the only one good review on this site I must say I was petrified to book this hotel. But given the location I gave it a go. I was pleasantly suprised. We loved it!!! I am a clean freak and cleanliness is my biggest concern. But I found this hotel to be just fine. We had no problems at all. I would definately stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were great - the rooms were clean and huge and the location is perfect. Oh wait - just one issue............the corridors are too long - with a room at the end of the corridor and after walking all day................well my feet hurt!

There is no restaurant, no bar service, no coffee in the morning, no water in the vending machines, no nothing! I was charged an outrageous nightly charge for a dirty room, which appeared to have been redecorated in the 1950's. Dim light bulbs in all the lamps. Clientele were all sporting tatoos and black tee shirts, very chic.

To get the door to open, we had to kick it hard. I asked one of the maids to help me get in my room, and that's what she showed me, kick the door in, hey it worked. First she gave me grief over having to help me get in the room. Oh, and the maids park their carts next to each other so you can't get past them in the hallway. Very smart.

Internet is charged at $5 for each10 minutes of use. Parking is $27 a day. No, I would never return, and if you look at the photo's the hotel is showing for their room, it's not even close to the reality of the room you'll actually get. Bring a flashlight so you can see at night even with all the lamps lit, you can't read anything in your room. My room was considered a suite, which consisted of a card table, no joke, and 2 arm chairs. A suite they call it.
