Maison Fleurie's staff and grounds were wonderful. The inn itself is very beautiful and is truly resembles a "Garden House." We had a perfect night in an outdoor jacuzzi under the stars and loved the comfortable, friendly atmosphere. The food was much better than at other Napa Bed and Breakfast's that I'd previously visited. The wine and cheese hors d'oeuvres and cookies in the afternoon were really delicious, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. There were many choices to the buffet style spread (more than I'd previously experienced at other B and Bs) and all the offerings were extremely delicious. We had access to complimentary sodas and wine throughout the day. The woman who made our reservations was incredibly nice, and we had a perfect stay. The room itself was located in the main building, near the breakfast area. It was quite large and was equipped with a TV, oversized jacuzzi tub for two (at least!), large shower with separate vanity area, and a sitting area with a couch. Our large window overlooked the front of the building. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night during our stay. At $200 a night (high season), I found this inn reasonably priced for the quality. I would return in a heartbeat!

My Husband and I just had the most REMARKABLE weekend in the wine country. It was so nice after the long days of wine and recreation to come back to our beautiful room at the Maison Fleurie. We stayed in the Bakery Building where I believe the biggest rooms are...(We didn't stay in the main house so I can't agree or dissagree with any of the previous statements about the size of those rooms). Let me just tell you about our experience. Big fluffy robes, king size feathertop bed(so comfy), in room fireplace, whirlpool bath in a GIANT bathroom. Back door that leads out to the pool, front door that leads right to the outside hottub, nightly turndown service with chocolates, champagne waiting in our room upon arrival, breakfast in bed service (actual bed trays and beautiful china brought to us in the morning), dvd player with movies to rent at the front desk, morning newspaper delivery, in room coffee and tea...and VERY quiet and private. The hotel offers complimentary soft drinks and sherry at all times, an afternoon wine and hors d'oevres hour, and a breakfast buffet from 8-10 am every morning.
We talked to other couples who had stayed there previously and they told us they are hooked. The property is also a block away from shopping, restaurants and a Bouchon morning cafe...for those who don't seem to like the breakfast at the Maison Fleurie...PLEASE PEOPLE, if your focus is food there are about 30 world class chefs in the Napa Valley...go to one of their restaurants!!!
