This is hotel is, first and foremost, a convention centre. I was there for a week and it seemed pretty well organised, with polite and helpful staff. My room was large and comfortable with everything I needed.

It is very close to the light rail Belleview station, which makes getting to Downtown extremely easy and cheap. It cost just $5.50 for a return and the machines accept coins and notes (they give change too).

The first small gripe is that my room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the reception area. For some reason, known only to them, they think it is a good idea to play pop music through four large speakers into the area where cars pull up. The double glazing is good, but you can still hear this all night long. I did ring up one morning at 4am and they did turn it down for me, but clearly they must like it, because it was turned up again the next morning.

The second, smaller, gripe is that there is no changing room in spacious and otherwise well-equipped gym and pool area. If you go swimming you have to drip through the corridor to the toilet and change there. I personally don't enjoy changing so close to the urinals.

Apart from those two things, though, it was a comfortable hotel and well-placed for business purposes.

This is a very nice hotel. The lobby is open and spacious. The check-in was courteous and quick. My room was large, clean, updated, very quiet and comfortable. Loved the location and the restaurant. Parking was easy as well. I'd definately stay there again!

Recently stayed at the Marriott for a family wedding. Checkin on Friday was very smooth. The indoor pool and hotel tub very dirty. Tiles missing, trash-cups and cigarette butts laying around. On Saturday went to the outdoor pool-the pool was clean but cups and trash on the chairs. I was there at 10am. We finally called the front desk-housekeeping didn't answer at 2pm when our room wasn't made up and explained again that we needed towels to get ready for a wedding at 5pm. They brought towels. The front desk exlained that housekeeping had until 430pm. Saw the maid in the hall on way to wedding and she wanted to know if we needed anything, I asked for more towels and the beds to be made-no towels but beds made. Reception was held at the hotel and it was wonderful. The food great and the staff at the event was fantasic. Ate at the buffet the next morning and the staff was great also.

This hotel was well worth the price, but then again we only paid $50 for it. It beat out the $150 I've stayed in, so would be a good hotel even at $150. Parking was free, but they can charge up to $10 a night.

Large and clean rooms with balconies. The bar, hot tub, and fitness center were good, but the pool was just ok.

Drinks are way overpriced, and the airconditioner was loud, no in house massuese.

Overall it was great. I plan to try to stay there again.
