The Comfort Inn Downtown is in a great location and is connected to the Brown Palace Hotel - a Denver landmark and prestigious property. The Comfort Inn, however, could use some work. The rooms have been upgraded but the bathrooms have not. They are small and sad. They look like old hospital or institutional bathrooms. Everytime I turned on the tub, brown water spurted out at first and the water temperature in the shower varied dramatically. The linens and bed were nice quality. The complimentary breakfast was a big disappointment: few options, even fewer healthy options, fake maple syrup, fake orange juice, served with paper plates and plastic utensils! Really cheap and not at all environmentally friendly. After the first day, I got my breakfast elsewhere. The lobby is pretty small and awkward and the elevators are truly ancient. The fire department was actually called to help free a trapped passenger while I was staying there - no joke! Being connected to the Brown Palace has its pros and cons. It's nice to be able to pop over there and enjoy their beautiful lobby and great restaurants and service. But it also reminds you how sad the Comfort Inn is. The business center in the hotel was truly pathetic given this hotel must be used frequently by business travelers. It was tiny and could probably only be used by one person at a time. This is one of the cheaper downtown options and I guess you get what you pay for.

The room was good with good beds, but bathroom was very small and not really clean.
Staff was nice and helpfull;
I will just say good price for an average hotel which need a serious refreshment and cleaning.

I stayed at this hotel two years in a row for the Great American Beer Festival. It was definitely close enough to walk to the convention center, and close enough to stumble home from without getting lost. The staff was always friendly, and the rooms, although pretty small, were very clean. The breakfast was adequate, and the rates were very cheap, but really the best thing about this place is the location.

I booked and paid three months in adavance and got a very good rate .this is a nice hotel all the staff on the front desk where so friendly and helpfull ,as were the valet parking team. Breakfast was fine and the room was well presented ,as we were on the 19th floor we had good views across the city to the mountains.Its close to the shopping areas and eating places inDenver .The only downside we ate twice in the Ship Bar in Browns and the food was not that good ,i had to send one meal back twice as it was under cooked.I would stay there again.
