“Plenty of hot water, but not a drop of cold”

This is an okay hotel, but I don't know why you'd end up in this location unless you were here for a business meeting. The airport has moved, so there is nothing here.

Major problems:
- The railings inside, around the atrium, go all the way up to the 11th floor. They seem to be set up for climbing and jumping over. The railings on the balconies are the same. If you have children, I would not stay here for this reason. It was kind of frightening to be near the railings, as they hit right at your center of gravity and make you feel as if you're about to topple 11 stories to your death.

- The rooms have scalding hot water coming out of the tap, no matter what setting you use. There is no cold water tap. I'm not joking. This was a common complaint from others in my group.

I recently spent a week at the Radisson Hotel in the Denver/Stapleton area. Upon check-in, I was ignored for 3 separate phone calls and was finally attended after 10 minutes. My greeting was uninviting and was further hampered of information of room unavailability. After a half hour wait I was finally given a room. Went to my room and the key did work. This was the first of 12 key malfunctions throughout my week long stay that I was denied access to my room, and required 12 time consuming different interactions with the inhospitable hotel staff. A final tally of time lost due to key exchanges was about an hour. During the first day of my conference, the ceiling in the conference room sprung a leak and resulted in a couple hour delay for maintenance. Water problems seemed to be an issue at this hotel as some days there was only cold water and on others there was only scalding hot water available. The water in my toilet was hot every other day.

The male bartender which worked every other day should be nominated for the worlds worst bartender as he provides lackluster service and an inhospitable personality. However the food in the restaurant is very good as is the service. The elevators work sometimes and often require a 5 minute wait. The elevators would not be such a big deal if all the stairwells were not rigged with fire alarms, making elevators the only route to take to the lobby. The maid service is wonderful as my room was cleaned and pillows were fluffed everyday. I wish that my sleep number bed was as reliable as the maid service; it deflated every night, requiring several adjustments nightly. I never had more than 2 hours of solid sleep. A few people that attended my conference had to change rooms up to 5 times, and many canceled the rest of there stay and went down to the Super 8 for a quality nights rest. I heard that the service and room quality is much better at the Super 8, but I wouldn't know, because I stuck to my guns and stayed the entire week. Perhaps I am stubborn.

Overall this hotel is awful. The hospitality is lousy, the overall condition of the hotel is falling apart, and the functionality is not reliable. I recommend finding another hotel, in the area.

We were forced to stay overnite after United bumped our flight, and reading the reviews on my Blackberry as we headed for the hotel, I was leery. But I found the service to be first-rate--everyone from the desk clerks to restaurant people tried hard to be nice. That's not to say that the hotel is not understaffed; it might be, but we didn't feel the effects of it, except for somewhat slow service at dinner. I never expect good food in a hotel: dinner was adequate and the breakfast brunch was better than average. The rooms were clean, the decor in the lobby is 70's Hyatt, complete with see-through elevator, but everything appears in good condition. It does not have a tattered look about it. I'd recommend it highly and would stay there again.

They had no extra towels, no washclothes, I didnt recieve my wakeup call. Thank goodness for cell phone alarms......Front desk did not know the local area and they did not even have a phone book in the room or at the front desk. No access to a computer for mapquest, thier buisness center had the plastic over the monitor and the hard drive was covered up. Front desk said they were not allowed to access the internet. Spoke with the manger Berdie and she said that was company poilcy. Were was the customer sevice? Maybe it went to the hotel next door. Will try that hotel next time.
