“Love the Brown Palace Hotel!!”

Brown Palace Hotel: Denver
Two night stay.
What a gorgoeus hotel full of history. My stay at the Brown Palace was a wonderful experience. The staff was professional and attentive. I stayed in the excutive suite on the 9th floor. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The room service was awesome. My second day I returned to my room with my bed pulled back for me, slippers layed out and chocolates next to my bed! They have several resturants within the hotel and I ate at the historic Ship Tavern where the service was fantastic and the food was great and reasonably priced.
This hotel is a great find and I look forward to more visits to Denver where I again can stay at the beautiful Brown Palace Hotel. Lastly, they have a great website which is easy to use and great descriptions of all the services offered.
Five Stars plus in my book!

“Lovely Hotel But Note on the Rooms”

The Brown Palace is a lovely hotel, especially at Christmas time when the lobby is decorated very lushy with tree and trimmings. My husband and I have stayed twice when our holiday party was booked at the Brown. The service is amazing, very attentive and works to ensure they keep a reputation of having good service. We only dine at the party which had very good food, classy and lots of variety but I've heard the pub has excellent food and there is a fancy piano and mid-day tea that is supposed to be excellent. Brown Palace is definately expensive but in line with other nice downtown hotels. You do pay for parking and valet is pretty well your choice on a daily rate.

As for the rooms, Brown Palace has a variety of choices from a standard king up to nicer suites. The suites and anything above the standard room are amazing. They are spacious, have old-time decadence to the furnishing and are very comfortable. On the standard room, you are still paying $140 or more a night and sometimes the rooms are so crowded with the furniture, only one person can pass between the bed and the armoie holding the tv. If you are staying one night, this is probably OK but if you are staying several nights, you should consider this.

If you love the location and are planning on staying in the standard room, consider the Brown's sister property across the street. The Comfort Inn Downtown is connected by a skybridge to the Brown and is considerable cheaper while still a nice hotel. We opted for our 3rd trip to the Brown for a party to get a corner king room at the Comfort Inn instead. It was maybe $25 less a night but the room was twice as big and two walls were windows looking over downtown Denver. It was a very lovely room and only downside was in the middle of winter, all those windows can make the room a little chilly.

The Brown Palace was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the minute we got out of the cab. The staff was so attentive to our needs, and everyone seemed so friendly there. I loved the location of the hotel, just a block away from the 16th Street Mall. Which on that note could have had a few other stores to be called a mall, but it was fun to have something so close by to go to. The Cherry Creek Mall is very nice if you are there to do some shopping...that is about 3 miles away. The rooms were excellent, except the air conditioning wasn't the greatest, atleast they had a ceiling fan in there to circulate the air. Overall, we would definitely stay at The Brown Palace again! Keep up the good work!

We stayed at the Brown Palace for two nights and during one of the evenings, I was treated to a massage at their spa. It was one of the best I've ever had. My massage therapist listened to exactly what I needed (I have scoliosis) and she was attentive and aware of every touch. They have a wonderful waiting area equipped with water, tea, yogurt-covered pretzels, nuts, etc. as well as a complete changing area, private bathrooms and showers, and an aromatherapy-infused steam room. I used all of the amenities before and after my massage. They did not rush me, but instead made me feel that I could use the amenities as I pleased. There's also a granite-top vanity complete with hair dryers and curling irons if you need to get ready for "a night out" after your treatment. I had the privilege of getting my massage in the couples massage room. Next time we go there, I definitely want to get a couples massage. It was a round room with a private jacuzzi tub...immaculate, romantic, and beautiful architecture. I think I've said enough -- I loved my stay there!

I enjoyed my visit to the Brown Palace Hotel and Spa. This was my second visit to a spa in Denver and it blew the other spa away! This spa is the epitome of excellence and luxury. You receive complimentary valet parking when you arrive. All personnel were friendly and inviting. When I walked in I was greeted by very friendly staff. The front desk staff member escorted me to my personal locker where I was given a plush robe and flip flops. The spa is very clean, modern and inviting. There is a steam room and personal changing rooms. I went during a weekday so it was not very many people visiting the spa. I did not have any wait time to see the wax specialist. The specialist was very kind and answered all of my questions. The services I received was not terribly expensive. I felt very relaxed during my time at the spa. I really did not want to leave! I would love to go back.
