I stayed at the Quality Suites Ft. Collins on 03/15/03 and here is what I think about it. The Quality Suites is a simple all suite hotel (most rooms are jr. suites) situated just one block from Ft. Collins' main drag, College Ave. This hotel has a number of features found at other properties in its class. These include pool/whirlpool, exercise room, cable TV, and the like. In addition this property offers great views of the mountains, that is if you have a room on its back side. This property however does not have a restaurant or lounge, but does not need it with all of the eateries near by. Also does not offer pay-per-view movies, but who cares as they tend to be over priced.Beware that this hotel is located very close to the rail road and the loud trains may become a big distraction. In addition this hotel claims to have a free breakfast, but found it to be a little skimpy, so I went to the Egg and I (voted best place for breakfast in Ft. Collins). PROS:Great location (just one block over College Ave, the main drag in Ft. Collins)Decent sized rooms (jr. suites)Fairly reasonable priceGreat views on the mountains (if you have a view on the back side of the hotel) CONS:Free breakfast has little to offerClose to rail road track (trains can be very loud)In all the Quality Suites Ft. Collins is a good hotel, but a great one. For the price you can go wrong, unless you are looking to stay at the Ritz.
