My husband and I stayed here for one night in late June, 2006. The motel is located on the main street in Grand Lake, within walking distance of restaurants and the lake.
This motel is a standard, two-story Best-Value Inn property. The room had two queen beds and a standard bathroom. It was not fancy, but everything was very clean and the owner was pleasant. We found it to be very quiet at night.
There was danish, coffee and juice in the office for breakfast, although we chose to walk down the street to a coffee shop instead.
The Bighorn Lodge is a clean, inexpensive, and convenient place to stay in Grand Lake.

This hotel is nothing to brag about, but it served it's purpose of a clean place to sleep and had hot showers. We arrived into town late after driving all day. The room was $75, and we thought this wasn't too bad because prices are higher in this tourist town. They did not offer any continental breakfast. There was coffee available in the office. There is a nice cafe across the street. Parking was limited. With everyone driving large SUV's, it was a tight fit in the parking lot.

We paid $150 for a room with a view of the back of a stair case. The room was clean, but nothing special. They provided a communal coffee pot and powdered sugar doughnuts in the lobby, and not much else. It would have been okay at $75, but a rip-off at $150. There are enough other hotels in town, surely there is a better deal somewhere.
