Walked in to Cables tonight (7-29-07). There were 3 people waiting in the entryway waiting to be seated. No one around. Waited, waited. Finally, someone showed up, said "sorry 'bout that", and seated the 3 people. My wife & I waited some more. Finally she showed up again. Another "sorry 'bout that". Got seated outside. After a little bit of a wait the person that seated us came to our table and told us that she wasn’t our waitress but would take our drink order. Ok, progress. We both just ordered a beer. Waited, waited, waited. I finally asked my wife if I should just go up to the bar and get something. Finally our real waitress showed up (got another "sorry 'bout that") and asked us what we wanted to order for drinks - aaaaahhhhh! Ordered drinks again. Waited, waited, waited, waited. Finally got our drinks and our waitress took our orders. Waited, waited, waited, waited. A third waitress comes up to us and said she just wanted to make sure she had our orders correct before she put them in - aaaaahhhhh! At that point I said that whole thing was just taking too long and we would just pay for the drinks and go. If she would/could have seen that we were a little displeased at that point, apologized, and said that the drinks were on the house (come on, 2 beers), we may have gone back there some day. Probably will go back but one more time like this will be our last there.
