This restaurant is a joke. If you want a greasy spoon that serves sub-standard fare, you have found your mecca. The china and silverware are pieces of multiple sets, and the coffe is swill. The pancakes were OK, but the rest was below the quality of Denny's or the Waffle House.

Our family enjoyed two meals at the Hungry Bear in Woodland Park, CO. My husband said "Why didn't we come here sooner". They are only open for breakfast and lunch, 6:00 am to 2pm. The pancakes are awesome. We had chicken fried steak with white gravy for lunch. It was so tender you could cut it with your fork. Go early or you may end up waiting for a table. Their waitresses are outstanding. They keep your drinks filled up. They give you enough attention but do not over do it either. Just right. The waitresses really work hard, smile and make you feel welcome.
