This hotel is only a few years old, but it has service that will withstand the test of time. The rooms are modern, large and stylish. The ocean view balcony from each room has great views. The on site valet is a nice touch. The restaurant on site offers high quality food and drink at a very reasonable price. A+ in my book for the MBH!

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed!! The staff couldn't have been nicer! Always smiling and willing to help with any request. Food was excellent at the bar's happy hour and in the main dining room. What beautiful rooms with amazing views of the sound! Would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! And I did!!! Wonderful friends of ours stayed there for their 25th wedding anniversary and also loved it!!! General Manager and his wife were lovely to us!

Room tip: we stayed in 305, perfect!!! Right in the middle, upper floor.

Overall this is a great hotel. We stayed here for one night on our way to Block Island. Very nice rooms with ocean views and the off-season rates seemed reasonable compared to the alternatives in the area. The hotel is new, clean and the staff was very nice. We had drinks at the bar which was alive with cougars, but it was a lot of fun.

Room tip: I believe the clerk at the front desk said the hotel was designed so that every room has an ocean view.

Was taken here for my birthday lunch by good friends yesterday. We had a wonderful time...the service was great..our waiter Luke saw to our every need, and was very attentive ..food was great and they brought a luscious chocolate birthday cake with my name spelled on the rim with edible gold leaf! Will definitely be one of our go to lunch spots. They have done a wonderful job rebuilding the old hotel very elegant, with that great " beachy " feel that is welcoming! I highly recommend a visit!

I have to say after traveling most of my life and visiting some really interesting places I was pleasantly surprised that my wife and I had a fantastic mini vacation experience at the Madison Beach Hotel in CT. This experience began with the warm welcome from Dane (valet) at our introduction to this beautiful hotel. He not only introduced himself but invitingly provided tips on a great hotel and local area experience which was only the foundation or starting point of this great mini getaway. The beauty was not just the hotel but the curtious and welcoming hotel staff. As if this experience was a book Dane was the introduction. At check in Evelyn (front desk) picked up from where Dane left off as the first chapter of the book. Her warm welcome and greeting was accompanied by a personal note from the owners Ric and Dawn Duques to join them for wine and eats in their "Captain's Quarters" their home within the hotel. The next chapter of this great novel was the introduction to the history of the hotel and surrounding islands from the General Manager, John Mathers and his wonderful wife. As smooth as check it we were then introduced to the owners and we engaged in conversations about our family and theirs and discover more of the history of the hotel. I will leave that chapter to you to experience when you visit because this is not a strange one time occurrence. According to hotel lore this a family tradition. As our dinner reservation was approaching we were ... Well this is a 200 word minimum and I could go on and on..names to note Tyler Carlson Food and Bev manager, next book.
