Stayed here a Saturday evening for $179 with a Triple A discount. The room was large for a holiday inn, decently clean. I was happy they still provide SMOKING rooms. Our room didn't smell like smoke nor did the hallway of the smoking rooms. The bathroom was fine, a little tight but ok. We took the shuttle to the casino and we got a $10 voucher for food which we in turned used at a restuarant there. In all it's a good deal compared to Mohegan Sun's nearly $499 weekend rates. If you need a cab back, go to Hotel's Valet, don't make our mistake and call the local cab company. They won't come! We had a drink at the bar which was festive at 1 AM when we returned with a live band playing. All in all, I was very happy. Check-out is a little early at 11AM.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. Room was very nice - attractive decor, spacious, meticulous housekeeping. Lots of pillows and towels. Very comfortable bed. Thermostat for climate control - quiet and comfortable.

Room service full breakfast only $8 (we didn't try it)!

We did not smell smoke anywhere. Double drapes (sheers and light blocking) on our windows.

Very convenient to Mohegan Sun.

Excellent restaurant nearby - Olde Tymes, where we enjoyed a terrific Sunday dinner, then returned the next morning for a wonderful breakfast before heading home.

“1/2 price of casino hotel”

This hotel is right off the highway and very close (5 minutes) from the Mohegan Sun casino making it a very good option when visiting the casino. Although I'd prefer to just stay at the casino, the prices and room availability are lousy. This hotel is a nice compromise. The room prices are much less and it seems easy enough to get a room even on short notice.

I stayed here for one night and found the accommodations to be just fine. It's no resort for sure, but what do you want from a Holiday Inn? The room was clean and comfy. The bed-which is all that really matters in a hotel like this- was very, very comfortable. The bathroom was small and the mirror wasn't tall enough for me (6'0'') so I couldn't see my face in it unless I ducked down. There was a small refrigerator in the room and the usual other options.

There is a bar and restaurant. I didn't try either. Instead try a breakfast/dinner place down the street called the Old Tymes Restaurant ([------------------]). It was the best breakfast I've ever had.

We were nervous about staying at this place after looking over a few reviews from others, but in the end we were pleasantly surprised!

The room was clean and the bed was extra comfortable. The staff was helpful and polite, and the free shuttle service to Mohegan Sun is a great value with the dinner vouchers and $10 gambling credit.

Our only complaint would be that the walls are a bit thin. We got to know our neighbors a little too well.

Overall we would stay there if we're in the area again.

Booked a Sat night. Hotel right off 1-395. The rooms were clean and updated. The staff friendly. It was minutes from Mohegan Sun. The shuttle does get filled up quickly. With No parking fee take your car over. Very close. Half the price of Mohegan Sun for a Sat night.!!!
