I stayed at this Comfort Inn hotel on 2 separate occassions. The first time I stayed here, my dad was recovering from surgery. We were given a very large room (2 queen size beds, and a sofa bed in a separate area with kitchen--2 TVs, Microwave, fridge, plate, etc. The room was large enough to hold a peewee minor league team.... The hotel staff was very accommadating towards my dad and his guests. He stayed at the hotel for about 23-30 days. He was given a special rate and was treated very well. Breakfast was good, included Waffles, cereal, yogurt and other stuff. I usually slept late. IAlthough, I was able to get fruits and juice on my way across the street to shop. And there was a lot of shopping to do.

Directly accross the street were 2 Malls, one inside (enclosed) and the other outside.TJ Maxx, Macys, and other fine stores, supermarket, alcohol, restaurants, and Red lobster. There is also a notable Japanese restaurant on the property.

I have nothing bad to stay about this hotel. On my second visit in November. I was given the same rate as my dad, and a room close by. There was a laundry room, internet room (we could not connect on the day I tried), and a pool. The staff was always helpful and generous. This is the only hotel my dad (over 70 with a cane) is allowed to stay at. Yes, I say allowed...because he would rather stay at Motel 8 with no security, doors with no locks, and day workers of all sorts hanging around on the balcony in front his room and all over the property for $10-20 less. For security, breakfast, clean rooms and linen, location, and a piece of mind, i would recommend this hotel to anybody. Oh, they offer military, senior, and other discounts. A little manners goes a long way.

I was suprised by the quality of this hotel. The hotel is bueatiful, nice landscaping and the inside is comfortable and clean. The entire staff was just brilliant. The front desk ladies were the most helpful. They were able to provide me with quality service, which I was not expecting. When we were due to arrive the staff went above and beyond their duty for me. I was very impressed none the less. Housekeeping spoke very little english but they were able to accomidate me when I needed something. The breakfast was nicely laid out and well stocked...great waffles by the way. The location was great and convient about 15 minutes to the beach and cental to shopping, my family completely enjoyed this hotel .I will definatly return to this hotel the next time i return to the Clearwater business.

This place was disappointing as soon as we arrived. It's old and in fair condition at best. Then when my wife saw cockroaches or palmetto bugs (whatever they were) crawling on the phone next to the bed and their droppings on the table, we were ready to leave but it was too late to find another hotel. Management put us in another room for the night, but we didn't sleep well, thinking that there might be more bugs in that room too.

We argued with management that the room should be comped (gratis) for what happened, but they refused, thus this review. What a poor business decision.
