All in all not a bad stay. Clean and friendly with a great location. I vary in where I stay from Hyatts to Super 8's, based on where I am and why and who's paying!, but in terms of the type of hotel this is, it does the job well and it offers a very nice room. I'm pretty sure I"ll never be in this area again but if I am I will more than likely return.

My family and I stayed there during the X-mas holiday. Our room (No.238) with two Queen-sized beds fully complied with our needs. It was large and very clean. The bathroom was fine with good water pressure...perhaps the Vanity area could be more roomy.
Pool area is clean and nicely set-up.
The rooms include a free continental breakfast and newspaper.
This property I fully recommend for families with children...its location is ideal for moving about in the Tampa Bay area.
My rate was $ 58.50 + taxes (senior).

This was a nice place with a good internet buy and reservation system. We stayed here for two nights and had two rooms. The one thing that was disappointing was when I made my reservation I was sure they said we would have adjoining rooms with a door in-between since we had 4 kids with us. But the rooms were only next to each other. The rooms themselves were comfortable, clean and the breakfast was nice for a continental. If you're not easily satisfied with bagels, toast or cereal you probably will want to eat out. The staff were ok, not overly courteous but not discourteous. The pool was very much enjoyed by the children. We would stay here again. A little further from Hwy 19 then we wanted, but it was a quick trip. Very easy if heading into Tampa.

We were a group of 11 traveling to clearwater fl just for a day. I was a little worried after reading the previous reviews, but decided to take a chance. It was only for 1 night how bad can it be.
The hotel and rooms were clean and very spacious.
The pool was excellent. The kids enjoyed it until wee hours of the night. The pool area also has a patio like setting which was great for all of us to lounge together and have dinner.
Clearwater Beach is about 20 minutes drive away due to traffic, which we thought was not so bad considering the amount of money we saved. The area has a lot of businesses close to it, but establishments there close at around 9:45, so plan early.
Deffinetly recommend this hotel.
