We, a family of 3, just returned from a 3 week tour of Florida and stayed at 7 hotels during this time. This one was the worst not only out of these 7 but the worse ever. We stayed at this hotel 4 long, long nights. The rooms are in poor condition but perhaps it is to be expected in a cheap hotel. Make sure that you don't put your suitcases against the walls, as they will be covered in a white powder. The sheets had holes in them but they appear clean. The carpet was disgusting. The breakfast room which is behind the reception has 4 tables but one of them was used by the staff. The trays were mainly empty every morning, you had to ask for toast or butter or jelly etc. You also had to clean the table before you sat down as noone else cared. But the worst of it all was the staff. Some of them appeared to live in the room next to the breakfast room with their family and one morning they had some family crisis. And there was no hello or good morning during our stay. They treat their guests as a nuisance.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and we both loved it!! It was a great price!! It was very clean and the staff was very nice!! The pool was very nice and also clean!!! We were in Clearwater for Phillies Spring Training and this hotel is only 4 minutes away from the BrightHouse works field which was wonderful!! I can't wait until next year and we will be staying at this hotel again!!! I am counting down the days!!

Booked two rooms, 2 queen beds each, for 3 nights stay. The interior is unimpressive and a bit aged. One friend complained of allergies by the third day. TV reception was awful even though it was cable. Friends complained that the shower alternated hot and cold, probably depending on if neighbors were flushing. Walls are somewhat thin, but mostlly not a problem, say unless you want to go to bed before 11 PM. Rooms were decently spacious. Continental breakfast was very basic, and would have been better with some fruit and water (I mean, at least pour the tap water into a container and not expect us to use the faucet).

Paid $74.70+12(tax) ish, in early March. I'm guessing this is a case of getting what you paid for, but I expected better from a Days Inn. It looked like there were some nicer rooms around the pool area with tinted windows. If I had a choice, I would probably spend a little more for better.

All in all not a bad stay. Clean and friendly with a great location. I vary in where I stay from Hyatts to Super 8's, based on where I am and why and who's paying!, but in terms of the type of hotel this is, it does the job well and it offers a very nice room. I'm pretty sure I"ll never be in this area again but if I am I will more than likely return.
