Very clean rooms. Grounds very well maintained. The owners are very friendly. And for the French visitors, the owners speak some French. We visited a dozen other motel and none compare. We recommend to every one.

We've stayed at the Royal Holiday on numerous occasions. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's a great place to stay.

The rooms were nice but I found the Staff/Owners to be a little condesending and the climb to and from the beach was rather steep. Larger coffee pots would be nice as well as more coat hangers in the closet.

When I was 15 years old, I went with a family reunion group to this hotel, as their babysitter. Having never seen the ocean, I was enamored by it's beauty. This hotel was the best place to experience my first beach trip. There were many kids and adults who had been coming to this hotel for years in the group. That was in 1994 and they are still going-every year! They were welcomed like family. And, I as a newcomer was treated no differently. The owners were so excited to be welcoming someone to their hotel who had never seen the ocean. There is a nice pool and shuffle board courts. You can get a room ocean front for a good price. It is also RIGHT on the beach. You can't ask for more than that in a vacation. A good hotel, right on the beach that is family friendly. Have a great time in Daytona!
