If only the experience of dining at the Chart House was as good as the food. We called one week in advance for a 7PM reservation for a special birthday dinner. We arrived on time only to be told that we would have to waint since the 6:30 people had not yet been seated. We went to the bar area for a glass of wine waited quite awhile to even be noticed. We were finally called to be seated in the diningroom at 7:50. A "smart"young girl escorted us to a table and glared at me when I asked to be seated at a window table which was also available. We were ordered back to the desk to wait again to be seated at the window table. Dinner was very good. I had the lobster and my husband had prime rib. The dinner wine we requested did not arrive until we were more than half way through our meal. Granted the restaurant was packed, but the manager should take charge of the reservation situation.
