I stayed at the Best Western Aku Tiki Inn for a conference. I found the hotel to be the cleanest of any I've ever stayed in. The room and common area decor was beautiful and the tropical landscape was lush and gorgeous. The staff -- from management to maintenance -- were pleasant and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect with our stay. The food in the on-site restaurant, Trader's, was absolutely delicious. They catered the meals for our conference and I can honestly say that there was nothing we didn't like. The Aku Tiki is located on the quiet end of Daytona Beach and we were able to enjoy the full moon on their lawn (yes LAWN) right beside the beach. I truly believe you couldn't find a better value in the Daytona Beach area (unless, of course, you stay at their sister property, the Bahama House). Thanks to everyone for a memorable stay!

We loved our stay at this hotel. We had an oceanfront room, ground level, only a few feet from the ocean. The hotel has spacious and well maintained grounds. More than enough chairs, tables, and umbrellas. The fact that it's on the quieter side of Daytona made it perfect too.
The pool is clean, and very warm.
They have a good restaurant on site too, that serves buffet style breakfast.Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in Daytona beach.
The reservation manager, (Tracey) went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful time we had. We checked in for the Thanksgiving holiday. The rooms were clean and roomy. The staff from the front desk, housekeeping, resturant were excellant. Everyone cheery and helpful and nice.

I asked the resturant at the last minute to arrange a birthday cake for my Mothers B-day and it was perfect they kept the surpise to the end. The Thanksgiving Buffett was great. The pool was clean and the grounds were clean.

I "won" two nights at the Aku Tiki on ww[--]. I paid $33 a night, including taxes, so was a bit concerned about quality of the place.

When I checked in staff was friendly, professional and quick. They gave me a nice room on the second floor with a beach view. It appears that the hotel has been recently renovated. My room and the public spaces were well decorated and very clean. No musty smell or mold on grout that is so easy to happen on the beach.

Free newspapers, cookies and daily happy hour were part of the amenities. The location is great - close enough to the main drag in Daytona, without having to be in the middle of all the crowds/noise.

Had I paid $150 a night I would still have said the hotel was a great deal. I'm planning to go back soon.
