When my husband and me went by boat (last year) thats exactly where he thought we was gonna sleep, in the boat : ) But of course i like T.V. and airconditoner. Tammy and Ronnie made our stay at the Village Inn very enjoyable. They are great down to earth people. The Hotel and the swimming pool was nice and clean. It's not often we find a place with both qualities, so for our anniversary in 2006 that is where we will be again. Across the street is AJ's were you can dance, eat and look at the boats on the water. There is also a cute little restaurant across the street called Another Broken Egg. The wait can be long but it is well worth it. We are looking forward to many more memories staying at the Village Inn and seeing Tammy and Ronnie again. :):):)

Over the years I have stayed many times and always have been pleased at the value and helpfull staff. Tammy and her staff always are cheerful and wanting to please the customers. It is rare in todays world to find such a charming group of caring people. Keep up the great work !

Nice location near bridge and fishing boats. Not on the beach, but pretty near. There is a Waffle House next door and other places to eat you can walk to like AJs and McGuires. The rooms were very large and quiet. Pool was good size too. Easy to miss driving by. Not fancy but clean.

To my "Friends" at The Village Inn, Destin:

I have stayed at the Village Inn, Destin for years now and have become friends of the manager, Ms Jayne and the staff! Great location and nice rooms.

The hotel offers moderately priced rooms for the area and has many amenities. Pool, morning coffee, convenient location(across st. from destin harbor) and a great staff! You can walk to the Destin bridge, harbor, McGuires Irish Pub, and hey, there is even a Waffle House next door to meet all of your budget meal needs!
