I've been staying at this Courtyard since it was built about 10 years ago (ignore the "new hotel" designation on Tripadvisor for this hotel!) and have had many good stays here. The staff is friendly and the restaurant, which was added in the last couple of years, is very convenient and the food's pretty decent.
This hotel also serves as an extension of the Cleveland Clinic sleep disorders program. There's a big sign near check-in designating the 5th floor as the Cleveland Clinic floor. I've never been placed on this floor, but friends of mine have, and you'll be subject to insomniacs roaming the floor - so avoid the fifth.
The other big warning is that the rooms are in need of refurbishment, especially the old mattresses. They feel like they are foam and when you sit on them, especially on the telephone side, they go wayyyyy down, and not in a good way. If you like a medium to firm mattress, you'll have an issue with these. The rest of the bedding is standard Marriott fare, which is good.
The staff is amazingly competent, always quick with a "hello" and eager to help. If the rooms were refurbished, I'd give this hotel a top rating.
