Highly recommend this resort. Short walk to the beach, and a short taxi ride to the bars, shops etc. Has everything you'd need and is like being home from home and is very well kept and clean. Angela and familiy are also very friendly and extremely helpful as are other members of staff. Will be going back for sure.

Our reservation was for 2 nights at the sister property Birch Patio, however, when we arrived we were told we would have to stay at Napoli. I then requested 1st floor because we had quite alot of luggage due to a cruise and additional stops in florida, however, I was told that there were no 1st floor rooms available. So were forced to carry all our luggage up to our dissapointing room. It was very small, very dated and not so clean. There was only one plug in the bathroom and that was attached to the light fixture. We were able to get an extension cord and a few cubes of ice from the office since there are no ice machines on the property and our freezer trays were empty. The couch in the room appeared filty with huge dust bunnies or parts of the sofa peaking out from under it, the sheets had a hole in them about the size of a quarter, there was a blanket on the bed that appeared to be from the 70's that was all pithed and had millions of hairs attached to it that were definitely not ours. The room had a wall air conditioner that had gaps so you could see outside, however, the room was plenty cold. Also, after a day at the beach and shopping we came back to the room just the way we left it. We asked why our room had not been cleaned and found out that the hotel does not have housekeeping on sundays. I have never heard of such a thing!

Pros: This hotel is inexpensive and close to the beach and has free parking.

This is a great place where to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Very friendly, rooms are clean and have all the basic things you need. Efficiencies are better for longer stays as they have a complete kitchenette. Price is very reasonable. I have stayed twice with my wife (March and September 2007) and we enjoyed our stay. Plus free wifi and parking, two blocks from the beach, two nice swimming pools where you will always find one almost empty. We plan to stay again next year.

Two years ago , when I first arrived at Napoli Belmar I could not believe that I can be so close to such a great beach and have
all the comfort at such an affordable price .
The place is immaculate , it radiates ; all tiles and ceramics
, no carpets . There are several types of rooms/suites ; the two I know , 105 and 111 , have perfectly equipped kitchens ; the bathrooms are well separated from the living area .

Two years ago I went together with friends ; this year I came by myself ; as a single woman I felt very safe and somehow I knew
that I can count on my hosts if needed .

There were a few families around - a family in 3 generations from Holland - other singles ; you could get involved as much or as little as you wanted .
