I recently stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference. I had actually made a reservation to stay at one of their sister properties, Napoli Belmar, but upon arriving, I was told she wanted to give me a bigger, better room. It was only $5 more a night than I expected to pay so I was fine with it. The room was very clean but I would have liked to have a bathtub. Very close, about 2 blocks, from the beach. My gripe would be that the bed was on casters on tile so it would tend to roll & move as I shifted. Also, the A/C was just a wall unit in the bedroom so it took a little while to get the other room cool on a warm day. The staff was very friendly when I needed something. It is a bit off the beaten path in what looks like a residential neighborhood. The grounds were nice and the pools looked clean. I give it an "above average" rating for the price per night ($75). Be prepared for about a 15 minute walk to get to restaurants & shops.

I stayed in the Summerland Suites for a week at the end of August and was really chilled when I left.
The rooms are large, bright, spotlessly clean and have a full kitchen area (although I eat out most days, still its nice to fall back on if you want), the grounds are nice with access to the pools & the shared facilities on the two adjacent properties owned by Angela and Tony who keep the concept of customer service alive.

I found the location great with a major mall a 15 minute stroll, lots of food choices within walking distance in various directions and a fantastic beach 2 minutes away.

The whole experience was one of relaxation and it suited me down to the ground, I walked to the beach, the mall and Beach place with not a care, I'll definitely be back.

We have been coming to the Napoli Belmar since I was a child, and it's nice to see how Angela and Tony have taken over from her parents and continue to expand. They have recently purchased the neighboring properties, Birch Patio and Summerland Suites to create a wonderful resort. The properties are all connected through walkways so you feel they are one big resort.

Today I have three children of my own. We travel quite often and stay at different resort hotels. They don't compare to the Napoli Belmar Resort for the simple reason that the owners, Angela and Tony, along with their staff, make us feel welcome and at home here. The attention the guests receive is just priceless.

DO NOT be fooled by the neighboring properties which look just as nice, but the owners are not active there, leaving the management of the property up to others.

The rooms are spacious, and very clean. There are full kitchens, a BBQ area and picnic tables all over the resort. Because the resort is a grouping of several properties, there are many pools all around the resort for us to use. A new laundry room has been recently setup which is very convenient.

They also offer internet access like the big hotels, if you have "kids" that like to stay connected.

Whether you stay at Napoli, Birch, or Summerland, you will truly enjoy your stay. Once again congratulations to Angela and Tony for their hard work and dedication to making us enjoy our vacation and feel like a member of an extended family.
