This is a good hotel for a business stay, or when looking for a good yet inexpensive hotel in the area. I stayed for 3 nights on business. The room is comfortable, some of the better pillows I have ever gotten at a hotel. The housekeeping staff was on top of everything, and always refilled all of the amenities.

The breakfast is a buffet, and nothing to write home about . . . the standard: toast, yogurt, cereal, waffles you make yourself. Room service is quick.

Also, although my room was (for lack of a better word) roomy, it still had the scent of lingering smoke - as if, until recently the hotel still had smoking rooms before going to a completely non-smoking hotel.

Our two night stay before a cruise was made even better by the staff.
The front desk went out of their way to help with transportation arrangements when a prescription needed to be called in.
In the breakfast room, we watched with amazement as the waitress showed incredible kindness, professionalism and compassion to some folks who had special requirements.
It was a real pleasure to stay there.

I booked several rooms for a group of associates for 6 nights. We checked in to find that the "complete remodel in January 2006" was really just started and still in progress. They put me in a room that after two nights I received a note that I needed to be relocated at 10:30 at night to another floor because they were closing the third floor for remodel. They had no one on staff to help me move. I moved to the forth floor, which was supposedly all remodeled and the closet door fell off, the sheets were dirty, there was no tissue and no trash can in the bathroom.

Anyway, I would not recommend staying at this property until they really complete their renovations. I was told by both the web site and the sales manager that the property had been "completely remodeled" which of course is not true.

Certainly does not live up to the Marriott reputation.

As a business traveler, I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, no problems. The hotel also has a good breakfast buffet (for $8.95). The only thing I had a problem with was the fitness center. If the towels, were available, the disposable cups for water were not and vice versa. The workout machines were in poor condition, if they did work. because of this, I am actually going to try another hotel to see if their workout facilities are any better. If you don't workout, I think you will enjoy your stay.
