We spent almost 3 hours on a walking tour of the Edison/Ford estates along the Caloosahatchie river. For 20 dollars (adult), you get a wand that plays interesting descriptions of inventions, lifestyle and family histories at numbered stations around the grounds. The trees and plants alone are worth the trip. Add to that well-preserved homes, outbuildings, a lab and much more! The indoor museum is nicely done. And the shops are fun environments for further looks and sounds of the past. The food was pricey and not worth it. I would bring my own lunch or plan to eat somewhere else. Overall, a great visit.
