DO NOT STAY HERE!!!As you can see I travel frequently and stay at 5 star resorts and 2 star economy hotels as well. I have never in my life stayed at such a disgusting and dirty hotel. There was mold all over the ceiling. The non-smoking room had a huge cigarette burn on the comforter. We were going for 7 spring training games in a 4 day period, so the hotel was really just a crash pad. It was a dirty, moldy crash pad, but he was willing to deal with the dirt. But after two nights, he saw a large roach run across the room as he was getting ready. That was the final straw and he checked out early and explained to the front desk why he was checking out.
We received a call from the General Manager of the hotel a few hours later. He told us he was in the room right now and there is no mold on the ceiling. Blatant lie, look at the attached pictures. He said we were the ones who smoked in the room. And then went on to tell us he was sending us a bill for the damage. Then he tells us we were not only smoking, but smoking WEED! WHAT?!!!!! The GM continued to rant and rave and then hung up on us. Luckily I bought the room through Hotwire and they reimbursed us for the two missed nights. When I called back to get the GM's name he continued to scream and then hung up again! I have never been treated like this. I am pretty easy going and know that I was staying in an economy hotel. I have never stayed in such a disgusting and dirty hotel. With the worst customer service I have experienced from any hotel EVER!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! (Note: America's Best Value Inn is Franchised, not company owned, which means they give you the run around and there are no set standards).

• Housekeeping received additional training in the level of cleanliness required of them as our employees.
• The general manager was approached about his accusations and was shown copies of the pictures which you had taken.
• The general manager received additional training in the courteous manner in which he, as our representative, is to treat you, our valued guest.
I hope that the next time you visit our area, you will once again choose to stay at Americas Best Value Inn . We take our reviews very seriously, and I think you will be greatly pleased.
