The Sleep Inn Fort Pierce is a good, affordable place to stay in the Fort Pierce area. The room was very clean although the double-double we stayed inn was pretty small.
The free continental breakfast was adequate. There was not a wide selection, but there were cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and bagels to choose from as well as the expected o.j. and coffee.
The pool was o.k., but because there is a large undeveloped field behind the hotel, there were a lot of bugs in the pool.
The hotel is within walking distance of a gas station/convenience store and a fast-food restaurant, and it is convenient to I-95.
Overall, I chose the Sleep Inn because the price was good ($70 a night), but I was generally happy with my stay.
